Sydney concerts & events 2027
From Olympic Park arena nights to Enmore Road gigs and summer shows on the harbour: the confirmed Sydney 2027 dates, likely tours and the presales that decide who gets in.
Sydney concerts 2027: what is already locked in
By 9 October 2026 our Sydney list for 2027 holds 95 confirmed dates, and the heaviest stretch runs from mid-January to the end of March. The stadium headliners sit at Accor Stadium in Sydney Olympic Park: System of a Down on 22 January, BTS on 20 and 21 February with the ARIRANG world tour, then Bruno Mars for four nights (4, 5, 8 and 9 March) on The Romantic Tour.
Next door, the arena that most Sydneysiders still call “Qudos” now trades as Afterpay Arena. Its 2027 book is the busiest in the city: Bryson Tiller, Niall Horan, Simple Minds, Kehlani, Empire of the Sun, two nights of Bryan Adams, Jungle, Evanescence, beabadoobee, The Script, three nights of Sombr in April, Megan Moroney in May and Westlife in July. The longest run belongs to Radiohead, with six nights between 25 May and 1 June.
Outdoors, Calvin Harris takes over The Domain for five consecutive nights from 20 February, The Strokes open the new Sydney Summertime series in Centennial Park on 20 February, and Fatboy Slim plays three nights in the old rail sheds of Carriageworks from 5 March.
Harbour steps, Newtown and Moore Park: the mid-size rooms
Below arena level, Sydney’s year is shaped by a handful of rooms with long memories. The Enmore Theatre on Enmore Road, Newtown, has the most dates on our list: Rodrigo y Gabriela, Public Image Ltd, Level 42, Clutch, two nights of The Human League, Holly Humberstone, Hayley Williams, Isaiah Rashad, two nights each for Belinda Carlisle and CAKE, Squeeze and Tash Sultana.
Across town at the Entertainment Quarter in Moore Park, the Hordern Pavilion has Sienna Spiro (two nights), Beartooth, The Fray, KALEO, FKJ, Tove Lo, Malcolm Todd and, in November, Jorja Smith. Its smaller neighbour Liberty Hall leans heavy: Carpenter Brut, Igorrr, THROWN, Citizen and Crush 40.
The Sydney Opera House Forecourt has three summer evenings on the harbour steps with Leon Bridges, Angus & Julia Stone and Madness. At Darling Harbour, the former ICC Sydney Theatre, renamed the TikTok Entertainment Centre in November 2025, hosts Lizzy McAlpine, Ronan Keating, Delta Goodrem and UB40. The gilded State Theatre on Market Street has Joe Jackson, Smokie, Micky Dolenz and, on 30 October, Passenger.
How the Sydney year is shaped
Sydney’s live calendar follows the southern summer. Daylight saving runs until the first Sunday in April, evenings stay light past eight, and promoters fill parks and stadiums while the weather holds. Field Day opens the year in The Domain on New Year’s Day, Sydney Festival fills January, and Laneway returns to Centennial Park on Friday 12 February 2027.
From April the action moves indoors. Theatre runs, arena residencies like Radiohead’s and the winter light-and-music program of Vivid Sydney (28 May to 19 June 2027) take over, while rugby league, AFL and, in October and November 2027, the Rugby World Cup claim the stadiums. Late-year announcements tend to target the following summer, which is why the second half of our list is still thin as of October 2026.
Buying tickets for a Sydney show
Nearly every big Sydney show sells in layers. A fan or artist presale usually comes first, then card and telco presales (Amex, Mastercard, Telstra Plus, Optus or Vodafone, depending on the tour), then promoter lists such as My Live Nation, Frontier Touring or Secret Sounds, and finally the general public sale. The Strokes’ Sydney Summertime show, for example, opened with artist, Mastercard and Vodafone presales on 28 September 2026 before the public sale the next afternoon.
Which website sells the ticket depends on the room. The Hordern Pavilion moved to AXS in August 2026, the Enmore Theatre sells through Ticketek, and the Opera House runs its own box office. Our Sydney tickets guide sets out the details, and the venue pages cover how to get there.
